Very simple plough needed

Any suggestions please for a used plough for rotational ploughing of around 300ac per year. Everything else direct drilled or min tilled. Tractor would be 230-240hp. 650 rears 600 fronts.
I want to plough it properly not at warp speed. The soils are not uniform though unfortunately and ranges from sandy loam suitable for roots through pure clay that sets like concrete and cracks in 1m sections when bone dry. However when its wet it slabs over and you could make bricks out of it.
I want a simple plough thats strong and can deal with everything whilst inverting properly. I think ploughing narrower would be better for us. Any ideas?

Ld85 kverneland no28 boards ideally 300 headstock if the budget can stretch. RB7 besson is a good, strong plough but not as pleasant to plough with. Never had a lemken but also well regarded. Get a press arm and press for the clay

Are they slatted? As I though they would be best for clays?

No, not no28. Lot of lemkens on slatted boards. I believe the idea in slatted boards is to reduce friction and prevent soil sticking to them, no idea if they help break up clay much. A press would be the only true way, or plough early and let the weather/frost do the work. Maize skims are good for lots of trash by the way. Furrow splitters might be a thought for your clay

I suggest a very width plough
So on your clay land you can close it down to 12 inches or less so it doesn’t plough up like horses heads and put some furrow splitters on . If you don’t you will be throw a lot of power at it to break it down. (It’s a case of less speed more haste) then you can open it up on your other Land.

KV good ploughs, vari width means more to go wrong as get older If you can make a good job with Kuhn then you have not heavy/clay land
