Vet students looking for dairy farm placement

Hi! We are 3 vet students from the Royal Veterinary College in London looking for a 2-week dairy farm placement for the end of March.
The main requirements from the school is that the establishment have employers liability insurance and a minimum of 90 milking cows. Unfortunately, none of us have a car here and would therefore require accommodations on the property or the possibility of renting a place nearby. If your farm meets these requirements and you would be willing to take us on, we would love the opportunity to work for you!

If you haven't already, it is worth looking on Wwoof.org.uk, which matches volunteers with organic farms. We hosted a vet student from RVC through Wwoof last summer. I am full for March though unfortunately.

I might be interested?
I'll be calving then, but have never had a vet student before but could appreciate the extra pair of hands as long as you're willing to get stuck in and work?

I'm in Cornwall, accommodation can be provided as will meals as long as you're not a vegan or too fussy!

Will be milking about 60-75 then with about 15 due to calve in April, 15 in March so should have 30ish calves on the ground to play with along with 100 head of other youngstock, 30-50 dry cows etc.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll see if we can work something out. @Cows 'n grass will be calving then I think? So he might be worth contacting too. Or @lazy farmer ?

I could take somebody if they are willing to get at it. All year round calving here on 2 DeLaval robots but there are quite a few extra calvings due in April with some heifers coming in.

Based in Limavady, Northern Ireland

Hello I am interested it is quiet far for me though.I have tried contacting the other placement you recommended but if not would love to work with you.I’m not a fussy eater and I’m okay with being hands on as I need the experience.
