Vicon mower blade torque

Hi All with Vicon mowers, the handbook torque given for the blade nuts/bolts is 120Nm, which seems excessive for the size of the bolt. Any views on this?

I have to admit that I once lost a blade, having just guessed the tightness without using a torque wrench, but I have difficulty in getting to 120Nm at my age, which I feel is not doing the bolts much good.

Well they come with a 17/19mm cranked spanner for the job which will struggle to get to 120nm!! When I used to assemble new ones I’m sure I used to set torque wrench at about 70-75 ft lbs to check all the bolt but never would they move!!!
