Vicon tedder

Neighbour a mile down the road has one, can hear the clutch slipping on it here. I'm not a fan of krone stuff in general but I think they make a good tedder, or a claas.

The heavier duty Fanex 554-684-764-904 are worth a look. The light duty ones not so much, unless light crops and low acreage is the work you have for it.
Heavy wet crops now
That's why I'm thinking I'll need to move it to get it dryed.
Getting price for a lely tomorrow but problem is what's available for immediate delivery.

Just don't get the cheapest light-duty tedder. Most brands offer such a thing and they are OK for lighter continental-style hay crops but not for heavy wet UK and Irish crops. They may be cheap but they are pretty frustrating things. Get the heavy duty or 'contractor' version of whatever you buy, or you might regret it.

You need the models with oil immersed crown wheen and pinions. They are the models with 7 arms per rotor as opposed to 6. Nothing fundamentally wrong with the others but the heavier ones are much better!!!

Ran a vicon 763 for 10 year trouble-free. Now run a claas 870 and the Vicon was a far better machine, should of had enough another but the class was cheaper so we opted for that
