Anyone got one.....are they any good . Looking at a 644 model .
Yes ... they look a very useful bit of kit . Gonna have a look at one on Mon hopefully. Is that one on the three point linkage? Dont see many of them about
Thats a trailed one though, not suspended on the three point linkage.I’ve got one ,had it 15 years, apart from knocking one of the arms off on a water trough it has been a good machine.View attachment 1043655View attachment 1043656
The 644 is on wheels as well for raking. Basically no different to a trailed one except its carried for transport rather than towed .Thats a trailed one though, not suspended on the three point linkage.
I'm afraid the budgets gonna dictate it a bit .We almost went for a mounted twin rotor Kuhn, am honestly glad we didn't now. I would challenge anyone to show me a smaller, tighter, steeper field with crap access worse than some of the ones we get and I'm still glad we went for the steering trailed version.
Know of folk with Vicon rakes that are happy with them. Would definitely recommend looking at steering trailed.
3k more is 2 decent cowsAbout 3k more , stick it on the never never over 3 yrs
Amount of forage you make i would of thought its a no brainer tbh.3k more is 2 decent cows
3k more for? Not trailed steering kit surely?!About 3k more , stick it on the never never over 3 yrs
Im led to believe the small trailed twin rota rakes are around about 14k, the one on the three point linkage which hfd is thinking of buying was on offer at the three counties show today for 11k.3k more for? Not trailed steering kit surely?!
