It gets my back up when people start going on about cows polluting at least they are here for a reason and do some good
Aeroplanes should be taxed out off the sky IMHO cos most off there flights are a waste off time and fuel,be nice to see how Mr pickle likes them apples

When it comes to environmental impact, all foods have a question mark against them in some form or an other. The trick is to grow/rear them in environmentally sustainable amounts that can also feed the world. I suspect his article is somewhat done for effect, but he does go on to mention grass reared meat as one of the solutions which I would agree with. I always find it difficult to defend my industry against people who point to these 50,000 + unit feed lots where the animals are stuffed with food and antibiotics and the justification is economics.

He's not as daft as the looks, maybe he's got his sights set on buying up UK land cheap from farmers that have gone bust to rebrand as Virgin Ground? (It has a good ring to it!)
A base to get into beef himself to then have a go at McDonalds / BurgerKing as he tried with Cola?
A base for his space transport business?
