How does the new front disc design work in chopped spring barley straw @Virkardd ?

We have had some good results drilling into chopped barley stubbles with the barley yielding up to 10tons ha so lots of chopped residue to deal with. We have also moved over to using the Metcalfe point which is slightly narrower with no places for chopped residue to hang up. We have moved back to using the standard turbo disc as found this disc performed better in most scenarios.

As long as the chopped straw is fairly dry then it is no issue.

Hopefully Lister Wilder will be providing Virkar Dynamic D for a demo in the next couple of weeks, I saw the Dynamic DC at Tillage on the 16th and it moves too much soil and drags up trash. The D looks like the machine that ticks my boxes
