I agree that much of what they do leaves a lot to be desired; but I can't see how RT can credibly be claimed as anything other than a mouthpiece for Putin and Co., how can you?
I tend to watch the BBC and RT both of which are biased, I then form my own view after listening to both sides. It is interesting flicking between the 2 channels when they are reporting the same subject
I wouldn’t waste my time with CNN

I think this huge invasion force is a diversion for a much smaller incursion. Putin parks 150k troops on the border and the west goes into hysterics saying he's going to take the whole country. We have swallowed the bait hook line and sinker.

Now we see the stirrings of trouble in the Eastern rebel held areas, this will escalate with Russia claiming human rights violations etc. Rebels will call for help and he will go in and probably support the creation of 2 pro Russian satellite states. Compared to an full scale invasion of ukraime this will be seen as much smaller in many peoples eyes which will alow russia to pull it off. After that the whole thing will fizzle out. I'm probably wrong but I think the full invasion force is a smoke screen

Hard to say until it does / doesn't happen; just as likely he's putting a big force there to make 100% certain of what you say, or to push hard and see what he can get away with. I still think the Dnieper is his ideal... :(

I assume you mean bbc world service, we've watch some of that while away and to be honest it's a whole lot better than uk bbc, not saying it's not biased because unless you're involved directly it's hard to tell.

I disagree. The first past the post system time and again produces a parliament which is unrepresentative. The prime examples of this over the past ten years are the over representation of the SNP and the under representation of UKIP. Ignoring 4 million voters cannot be healthy.
Direct government by the people is just impractical on a day to day basis. Under a healthy parliament political parties would put forward a program for government and then be judged on their performance at the next GE. Your point about the disadvantages of coalition can be valid in some circumstances. However I would suggest that the coalition between the Tories and the Libdems was no worse than the preceding Labour or succeeding Conservative governments. Indeed I believe a coalition would have been more representative and not joined GW Bush’s disastrous war on terror as Tony Blair did. Certainly the coalition did a better job than the current government. When it came to an end it took the Tories 18 months to implode.

I would say any such constitutional change would require a referendum.

4 million voters having a lot of power, would be undemocratic.

4 million voters having the amount of power their votes represent is democratic,
40% of the votes giving a party 60% of the seats isn’t.
The most undemocratic thing is money, when you see how much is spent on elections, especially in the states, money cant buy you love its claimed but votes it can

If you want to find any reason to convince yourself that Russia is wanting to invade like Boris and Biden are so keen to do then you will always find something!

Did Russia not in other years play large scale war games near the Ukraine border?? but then there was none of this hype like Boris and Biden are doing this year
Just wondering if, now, you do accept that Russia invaded Ukraine... or is it all a conspiracy and fake?
