Vodafone Employee Advantage

Sorry, bit of a cheeky one this....

Trying to do my Vodafone renewals, and they asked me if I knew anyone who worked in the following industries, either family member or friend as I could claim 30% discount if I provide a code.

Would anyone (or their family/friends) working for one of these companies (there are 2500 firms in total!), but not running their phone with Vodafone be prepared to help me out please? All I need it a work email address so I can fill the form in.

I also hope this raises awareness and helps anyone with Vodafone who has family or friends who work for them to claim a discount also.

Just push them hard Steevo! They should give you 30% off the headline rates as a valued current customer in any event. Push for 40%. They have given me that in the past.

Or it would be if I found someone who worked for them. By all accounts you can have 3 lines yourself, and friends and family a further 5!

Well done if you can swing it. Need to find the wider list of 2500 corporates, they want a work email address or personnel card to prove your connection.

Never found the telecoms deals offered by AF and the like much good in the past. Have they gotten better recently?

Nothing! You're basically a mug if you pay the headline tariff. Irrespective of this particular Employee Advantage discount, VF will give 30% off to their current customers renegotiating a contract.

So actually the REAL market rate in effect is the headline less 30% because practically everyone can get that level of discount in one form or another!!

Now if you show me you can fairly reliably and easily get 50% off headline rate then I'm all ears

Just tell them you want to leave they will pass you onto another dept who will offer you a better deal. Keep refusing the deal each time you go to a different dept until you feel it's a fair deal. They do not want to loose you.

I think it's because these particular companies all use Vodafone for their company mobiles. It's an easy way to win extra customers if some of them already have a work mobile with Voda. It also encourages firms to put their mobiles through Voda as another perk that they can offer to their staff.
