Does anyone know why my motor won't spin the blades. I've took it off completely and put the 2 hoses back on and it won't even spin the wee shaft

That's irrelevant what i have made from it the point is that its an extortionate price for 2 flats plates and knives. Its like charging 800 for 2 diesel filters on a tractor

Kramp do vogelsang parts, not sure what they are like price wise though.

Plate on mine has a grove 5 mm wide all the way round .Is this right or is it really worn . Should it be a complete flat surface against the distributor head

They do get grooves in them the only issue is when the chopping blades are getting worn right down. Maybe 5mm thick. Then you need new blades and outlet plates.

Yes we have have replaced the blades and the outlet plates and it’s like a different machine ,

When you say air vents do u mean the overflow blockage pipes ? Getting a lot of uneven feed on one side of mine even with new knifes. To the point where 3 togeather only just dribbling.

There will be either two each side or four that drop straight from masserator to ground. They need to be clear. If not it can draw air up easier pipes and put more slurry down others
