Yes would you want to keep the pigtail legs on though? If that’s the case it could work but you might be a bit disappointed also I think if you wanted to really have a go at it then change legs out also. I apprecaite that’s another cost though. They would help a bit because would be narrower but your problem is there’s too many on drill preventing trash flowing through the tines. I think your better option would maybe too look at a similar route we are doing and reducing tine numbers creating better trash flow we are going to just 4 tines per metre so your drill would have 12 tines on at spaceing of 250mm I believe that is the same on a sprinter? There’s all sorts of ways you can go but I believe unless you reduce tine numbers then never be competent at dd’ing your land consistently.I have a 3m Freeflow on standard tines.I am considering putting Metcalfe narrow tines to try more direct drilling,
I direct drilled some OSR this year and it worked well.Also drilled Wheat after a pass with a short disc.
Do Metcalfe tines help with trash compared to standard tine,also is there a simple option to band sow if tine numbers are reduced.
