Voted Tory all my Life! How safe is it to vote UKIP?

I find it odd that a hard left policy like Brexit, has been adopted by so many on the right.

Do you really support the ideas of George Galloway & Corbyn & Tony Benn (Hilary's Dad the leftie one).

You wouldn't find it odd if you understood the simple fact that where someone is on the political spectrum from far left to far right has no bearing on their likelihood to support leave or remain.
The whole impasse is based on not understanding this and why the whole of brexit should have been done by a cross-party committee.

Surely you have to help your own industry! That is why I asked about there Ag Policy! After all the press this last year or 2 I wondered how 'safe' they were?
WB
They have an ag policy? As far as i can see they are a here today gone tomorrow loose band of racist and bigoted extreme right wing nationalists who are nothing without a dodgy charismatic leader. Nothing.

What's the point in voting they take no notice
Just as well save the fuel it takes to drive to the village hall and stay home and do something

Politicians from all sides have changed their minds and voted for many and varied things in the last few months. Jacob Rees Mogg, the charlatan who claimed that negotiations would be easy and voted against Mrs May's deal all along and continues to undermine her every move, actually did an about turn last vote and voted for her deal.

Yet these blinkered brexiters choose to ignore this and claim that nobody else should be given the chance to change their mind, even though the leave side spun a web of lies and hardly anyone realised what leave actually meant or agreed on what it meant or indeed means today. What everyone can agree on is that the UK will be financially far worse off for many years, decades even, after leaving with whatever hard brexit method is taken.

Will we get the chance to change our mind after each general election in the future?

No, it doesn't work like that. General DeGaulle veto'd the UK's entry to the EU for decades and once we are out, most of Europe will consider us more bother than we are worth and there will be many countries that will veto readmission for many decades ahead. You cannot possibly yo-yo in and out depending on who wins an election. Being in the EU requires a commitment. A far bigger commitment than our pigmy donkey politicians have shown in probably 40 years, when everything that they did wrong in setting UK policy was wrongly blamed on the EU. Then we had shameful charlatans like Farage, feeding their bank accounts from Brussels while taking the pee and bringing shame on the UK's professionalism.

Well I don't agree so that's not everyone. Is it?

I suppose voting UKIP depends on your tolerance level for casual (and not so casual) racism, having Tommy Robinson as a supporter (not a member) Islamophobia and a bit of homophobia chucked in..

If you can live with that then cast your vote... if not Nigels new mob offer up a watered down version?

according to the poll someone put on another thread there seems to be no shortage of people that will vote Labour despite the racism they are supposedly involved in

Over the past 4 decades millions of people have lost their jobs because of EU & HMG policy.

Yet because a few people with vested interests in EU enterprises are about to lose some money maybe .. suddenly the situation is unacceptable.

The cronies in hock to the EU will lose out for sure .. hopefully those that currently do not pay taxes will be made to pay taxes .. but overall once we depart the EU AND have politicians which reflect the national interest then most ordinary people will do at least as good as being in the EU .. with the added benefit of our vote actually meaning something.

Quite looking forward to getting rid of both Labour & Conservatives .. the Lords wants replacing .. and the whole shebang wants moving into the Midlands .. maybe Wiltshire .. get rid of the London dead wood.

Same goes for Labour then .. why would any one vote for an Anti Semite terrorist sympathiser ?

Good old Corbyn .. putting the rights of ISIS Terrorists to use UK legal aid to force their cretinous way of life on the decent law abiding UK population.

Corbyn & May make a fine pair .. looney as a box of frogs.

Just the one
Yep. I have heard of nobody in the past year that reckons we will be as well off outside the EU, let alone be better off. Already the UK has seen literally trillions of Pounds move abroad and many, including Dyson and Rees Mogg’s businesses, move their headquarters or major portions of their business abroad. Both Panasonic and Sony have gone already. It’s only the lease on the building that keeps AGCO here. New Holland is biding it’s time. It’s British people in self-destruct mode, dismantling the economy and our collective prosperity.
