I had little success doing the sidewall of a 650/65/38 tm trelliborg it lasted 12months but had a big split and bulge come in it after a month I wouldn’t bother again the sidewall of a tyre does to much flexing imo

Had to have it done 4 years ago to a 710-48 Xeobib. Routinely set the pressure according to the chart between 7 and 15 psi, so far so good.

We had a Vredestein Floatation Pro trailer tyre repaired on its sidewall a few years ago. I can't even remember which one was fixed and wouldn't be able to find the repair now. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a traction tyre.

I think most repair places will evaluate the viability of the repair free of charge.
