Looking at changing my Amarok for another. Some good deals about now as they must be registered before the end of this month. If I was to wait until September would they be cheaper still as they would be pre registered?

Not 100% certain but don't think NFU etc discounts apply to pre registered vehicles if that makes a difference. In all honesty I would buy now but not sure if there is much stock to choose from....

It’s to do with emissions. If they aren’t registered this month then they can’t be registered I think or tax goes crazy. Cowabunga will know. Didn’t the dealer tell you why?

Comes with FSH. Always warmed up before moving. Had a service in December of last year and I wasn’t happy how the oil had turned black within a few weeks so changed it again in February

Just changed 2 yr V6 224 Highline for pre registered 258 Highline. New truck was cheaper than 2 years ago and that was using NFU discount then. Great part ex price for 100k miles too. Some good deals available. Mine was from Listers Coventry.

There's a massive push to shift metal at the moment. In the case of some vehicles it is indeed because of the deadline for older emission-standard engines.
For my part I've apparently been 'specially selected' for a marvellous 'opportunity' to upgrade my current vehicle. I've been contacted by phone, text, email and customised glossy letter. The discount off list price has been made known to me as being £12,000. That's the discount, not the amount to pay. I feel and must be 'very special indeed'.

Only one problem. I could buy two Nissan Navara Tekna automatic pickups, and keep a couple of grand of change, for the amount they still want me to pay after deducting the discount. I'd also get full tax relief on the pickup. Not that I want even one pickup or the car currently. I will continue with only one car between us for the time being as it is not a regular big inconvenience as things are and will continue to be well into next year.

Was in Carmarthen this afternoon and my wife was told by one shop assistant that 13 retail businesses had shut shop in the town in the last three months, from a tyre depot to big names such as Fat Face and Stormfront.

Just heard the V6 ones can't be sold from September due to not meeting emissions regulations so obviously trying to shift them. Ford and Volkswagen doing a tie up with commercial vehicles , the next Amorak will be a rebadged Ranger.

Best pickup I have ever had, hope the new one is as good. Did 2 sets of tyres in 44k then went to Grabber AT3'S and they were still on when it went back at 100k and still life in them. Cheapest truck ever to service, never had a fault.

Agree it really is a brilliant place to be, probably falls into the bracket of to good/expensive unless you are doing serious miles. Saying that a lot have appeared on farm round here with the latest discount.

Will be interesting to see what second hand values do over the next couple of years as there really is anything on the same level.

Pretty certain it is £405 a month with the truckman top electrics and tow bar.
Mine came also with central diff plus discovery pack which is sat nav, voice and uprated audio. Based on 15k a year and no maintenance .

Is that plus VAT? What sort of deposit and length of contract?
