Sat and watched the debate about the NVZ on Senedd tv, unfortunately Leslie Griffiths is not interested in listening to evidence, Jenny Rathbone, Cardiff central MS, gave the impression that she thought all pollution was due to Agriculture!
There were some very good points raised by Angela Burns, Carmarthen West and S Pembs MS, in fact anyone who wasn’t Labour put up a good show. Time will tell if this poorly thought out legislation can be stopped.

If Labour get their way I hope the Unions can get together for a judicial review of the legislation.

It seems irrational (one of the tests for success) in the context - I.e not dealing with other sources of pollution, applying to70% of Wales where there's no issue etc.
I would also question the fact that they are ignoring the industry and regulator's view in the consultation. I would also like to see the impact assessment.

For me, Judicial Review was made to protect those affected from poor lawmaking such as this.

Anybody see Ffermio last night?
Yes, the clips of slurry being spread next to rivers didnt help. The clip of a lad racing over a river bridge bouncing the guts out of the tractor and tanker made me laugh too. Parts of wales have a terrible image when it comes to slurry, the silage and grazing grass stinks of it and far too much gets spread on or nr watercourses and waterlogged fields. It was only a matter of time before something was done about it.

Dont think it's just Wales that has that issue and unfortunately it will be the good farms who suffer whilst the cowboys carry on with their rodeo
