Walterscheid PTO driveshafts???

Has anyone ever disassembled a Walterscheid pto driveshaft, only to find that the excessive play in the joint isn't between the cross and needle rollers but between the cup that holds the needle rollers and the yoke?
On dissaaembly of the joint, there appears to be no damage or wear between the mating surfaces between the cup and yoke , but there is in excess of 0.2mm/ 8 thou clearance!!! So would it be logical that when the driveshaft was assembled that parts were used were incompatable due to incorrect tollerances?
Would one expect the local Walterschied agency to show an interest and help to remedy the problem or just disregard the problem because it might lead to a warranty claim?
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated, more so if anyone from Walterschield would be be able to pass any constructive comments or advise.

What is the shaft doing application wise?
Haybob 360:rolleyes:, to be fair its had not that much use when compared to the 40 year old Haybob (300) thats done thousands of hectares and never had a problem. To be told that Walterscheid never assemble faulty driveshafts without actually looking and measuring the drive shaft and saying thats just normal wear and tear is far from convincing. If the driveshaft is not suitable for the application due to the angles that it might be subjected to "in normal use",then I'd expect a double universal joint to be used rather than just a single.
As fo the two marks on the yoke, they are from another "unrelated" malfunction, hence the universal joint had to be dismantled:whistle:
