Waltershied PTO wide angle joint

We got a new shaft for a machine direct from the manufacturer through our dealer.

Now I've noticed that there's no grease nipple on the centre piece of the wide angle joint just 1 on each yoke either side .

Is this normal now? it's the first time I've seen 1 like this we just got another new machine it's a bondoli shaft but it has all the normal nipples

Same on my strautmann wagon. Grease goes through the back uj into the center part

Thanks I suspected that as the year cross didn't fill up and pop the seals . Just the first 1 I've come across

Called cup lubrication, one can buy such replacement cross joints for both normal and wide angle shafts. Usually a lot easier to grease.

Waltershied wide angles have been like that for a while now. The Fusion 3 I drive is a 2013 model and only has 2 grease nipples. Had never seen one like it at the time and took the guard off to see what was going on.

My 1 yr old fendt baler still has 3 on it and it's a waltershied my last McHale v660 was a 2018 and it was the same
