There's a guy called Mark Chapman who advertised a few days back, seven 2 year old beltex ewes, registered, MV accredited near tenby. They are in the agricultural items for sale/wanted in Carmarthenshire & powys group on Facebook. Wants £400 each

Pretty sure @Jem is a 'she'.;)

You're right I am a "she"....now my OH is worried that the rubbish I spout on here has been attributed to him

Please accept my apologies ma'am.(y)

Is Ma'am overboard surely should use that to someone who is older than me, maybe I should "my dear", no too condescending.

Oh sod it sorry Ms Jem(y)

Apology accepted:) Definitely too young for Ma'am:rolleyes:

As mentioned above I have sold all my 4 crop ewes at Carlisle. Shame, @New holland that you've decided to buy just as all the Beltex and Texel and even the Beltex cross Texel in-lamb sales are about past. There was one in Wales recently and there are a lot of good breeders in Wales. Maybe you should get in touch with the Welsh club who might know of some for sale? http://www.beltex.co.uk/Regional_Clubs/regional_clubs.html.
As for Beltex cross Texels there are a few well known breeders who sell in lamb females. Thomas and James Whiteford of Tercrosset in Cumbria were selling some recently and may have more for sale -worth contacting them.
