Warburtons Contract

18 months about left to run on contract
Wouldn’t you think after a 27 year partnership warbourtons would have had some discussion about there intentions?
all the time we talk about fairness in the supply chain now all we have done is added another layer of skimmers to take a slice Fronteer is owned by Cargill and abf which there whole remit is to make a profit for there share holders
Can some one tell me what is factually incorrect with my tweet
Oh yes I am on the nfu crops board and red tractor board which means 2 things
Number 1 I want uk farmers to have a fair deal
And number 2 I know a lot of what goes on in the trade

Olly it is very misleading to refer to Frontier as a "US owner multinational".... if you dont believe me and want evidence of that, just look at the comments on your Tweet and how it has been interpreted by the UK public. You have made the UK public believe that US imports are replacing UK wheat, that may have been unintentional, but what I find extremely poor is that you, as a man of our industry, remains silent and decides not to correct these people, instead letting something false gain momentum. Subsequently this is likely to reduce UK wheat demand to Warburtons therefore impacting UK farmers.... I don't think that was probably your intention, or certainly hope it was not?

I agree it is surprising Openfield were not consulted after such a long relationship, and nobody can yet comment if Frontier getting the contract will be better or worse as nobody knows the details yet!

That aside the damage to our industry today is being done by your sensationalist Tweet and your refusal or stubbornness to clear up details you know are wrong.
