Don't get too excited, I've had 3 break-ins, 2 within 1/2 mile of Warwickshire Police HQ. I had to chase them for a crime number for two of them. They caught the thieves in possession of the goods taken in the third but let them go for "lack of evidence".

That is very poor, to put it politely. You should go along to this event, and raise the issue.
