Yeah it does work but needs high volumes. 20t to 0.2ph raise per acre roughly. Some say it stays in the ground longer. All I know for sure is my best fields have all had paper in the last 5 years. It’s best mixed with muck to save it sooking too much nitrogen from the following crop.

I've used some in the sheds last winter. Not too much. Suffice to say it is fairly robust in the midden. I wouldn't like to be applying it to land without the muck, as it looks like it'll need nitrogen support to break it down. I think the NV was somewhere 20-30%?

The crowd that sent it have been very pushy trying to get field spreading as well, covering soil sampling, permissions and spreading costs. It led me to think I should be charging them to tip in the yard in the winter.

Takes a long time to breakdown, gives the worms a high fibre diet for a while, too.

I took 2500t last summer, probably not a good first year to take it as couldn't apply extra n in autumn.
I'll take it as long as they keep sending it on my sandy land.

Was there not talk of it locking certain elements up? The people getting rid of it will tell you it wont tho.

It's pretty much all carbon, so will lock up huge amounts of nitrogen.

you should be charging for it all these waste should be charged for they build disposal cost into manufacturing
