Can anybody recommend a watch you can wear while milking?Must have the following properties;
Tells the time...don’t need stopwatch,alarm etc...I have a phone for that.
Waterproof,
Can take the odd kick,
Strong strap,no plastic buckle,
Most important,cheap..so I can throw it away if it’s crap.

When it was a wee Nokia,that was grand. Phones have got bigger. Not handy to pull out of the pocket when hands are wet and covered with shite. Got used to wearing a watch again. Arm feels naked without a watch now.

Not cheap, but gshock watches i have worn for twenty years or so. The highest i have spent on one would be around £70. Ticks all of your boxes above.

These are not cheap but are fully waterproof and with a large display, I have one and it hasn't gone wrong yet!

I have a waterproof bib and brace I milk in . It has a large full width chest pocket on the front where I keep my comparatively small Tuff phone. Haven’t had a wristwatch since the advent of the mobile phone, don’t miss it one bit or the crap that used to accumulate between it and my arm on the farm.

Got a button for setting variable countdown. Used it to remind me of water tank filling and tyre blowing up just this morning. Probably cheaper elsewhere but much better than getting phone out of pocket and dropping it in water tank!
