Water tank fitting

My brother has got the tank below for a project. Would anyone know the fitting we would need to we can put some MDPE pipe onto it? Turning the knob on the fitting moves a latch in and out.

That’s an instantaneous coupling as used for fire fighting or mains water hydrants. Try google but may well be cheaper to swap it to a different type
