You get 175 and 350... not sure what the difference is, but i think the 350 are stronger made?

They don't seem too expensive, might give them a try
Looking at the website the ones I had were the lightweight 170 I think. The worst thing about them from memory was the Velcro ankle adjustment that would catch on things and tear them. The ones your looking at haven't got Velcro so should be ok.

before you buy kaiwawa
there is a company
ast direct.
now they stock waterproofs identical to kaiwawa in all but price
i know people who have kaiwawa and gone to his stuff, and they say its exactly the same.
tepapa on here, he has both and can compare.
ive used the ast ones and so far spot on use them in amongst sheep at mart so a really good test.
£100 difference between their hurricane jacket and the kaiwaka stormforce

I have ordered some trousers from them today to see!
Just wondering if you got your trousers and what you think of them? Thinking of getting a bib and brace but unsure what to order. I don’t want the typical flexothane type material. I like the look of the stormforce but if there is a cheaper alternative that is as good that would be great

Had an email to say they were dispatched on Monday......still waiting for them, very slow service so I hope when they arrive they are worth the wait! I will let you know as soon as get them but I wished I had just gone to kiwikit and bought the kaiwawa ones now ....at least I would have got them straight away!

Yes that’s poor enough service now a days.

Yes, had that from a PTI at Browning. His nickname was 'Meathead' and his classic line, during press-ups, was '...and half way down, hold and rest...' As anyone who has done it knows, there is absolutely nothing restful about stopping with your arms half-flexed. Bast*rd.

Which ones do you go for from ATS?
I am thinking these are the closest match to the Kaiwaka stormforce kit?
https://www.astdirect.co.uk/iso-940-bib-overtrousers.html

The description on those is almost identical to the Kaiwaka Stormforce stuff, and other importers have them on at a price not far short of the Kiwikit price. AST seem to be the selling that same item for a lot less than their competitors, for whatever reason.
I’m tempted myself at that money, ready for when my Kaiwaka bib & brace finally gives up the ghost. If it was a little lighter it wouldn’t be a Problem, as long as it was as waterproof and breathable.

Ive dropped AST an email to ask about sizing. Might give them a call to see if they have stock and how long delivery takes.
