Waterproofing old reservoir

We've got a gravity fed water system on half the farm, we pump up to a tank which then feeds the troughs. It hasn't been used in two years as previous owner has just cut grass. Pumped up a few times recently and the whole tank has emptied within a day with the troughs isolated. Is there a sensible way to re-water proof it? The concrete insides has become pretty soft.

Was the supply isolated at the troughs or the tank prior to it draining?
It might be wise to pressure test the pipework before looking at the tank, just to rule out a potential leak elsewhere.
And for the tank, perhaps a food grade 2 pack epoxy 'pool paint'. But be careful applying it in a confined space, dont do it alone, and have a safety plan and the correct PPE in place before you start.

What volume is it/do you need? Enduramaxx (or similar) tanks aren’t overly expensive for what they are. No worry of whether the fix has worked or not. Would depend how bad the leak is, or how big an area as to which will be most cost effective.
