Anyone else having problems getting through to this company ?

Ordered Kerosene on 5th October, was told would be delivered by wednesday 20th of October.
Then told due on 22nd and nothing yet.

I am extremely low having just renewed the tank and wanted the minimum to transfer, and did explain this to the person who took my order, the phones just go to an answer service that cuts you off !

Very frustrating !

It’ll be area dependent but yes our local one is crap. We moved a few years ago to Rix who are superb. But tried Watson again via the farmdeal app last order and had to chase them to finally be told after 10 days the driver had run out of hours on a Friday at 2pm. Pushed them and they did deliver on the Saturday morning reluctantly, wanting to leave it till the Monday. That’s no use if you’ve run out and already waited 10 days for delivery.
This was all before the recent fuel crisis and pre price rises.
Saving 1p/litre for crap service is a waste of time.

My Dad ordered fuel went into hospital and didn’t pay then he died. When we were sorting out his bills we found it. It was ordered in November and he died in early January . We rang up and said ‘we are really sorry but this is what happened let me pay’ No we were told it’s in the hands of a debt collection agency you’ll have to deal with them. Dealing with their debt collectors was even worse so finally we told them make a claim against the estate it should take a year to sort out. So Watsons finally agreed to take our payment. Bunch of gits i think.

Just switched to Ford Fuels .
Excellent service . Went out of their way to deliver fuel to us when we unexpectedly ran out of fuel during the height of the fuel shortages . Then phoned to make sure it had been delivered .
A couple of weeks later I had a text to say they were really busy for the next few days and was I alright for fuel .
They have certainly won my business .

Ordered off Watsons a few years ago at a good price. Then something happened in the gulf, prices rocketed and they refused to honor the deal.
Much later I did deal with them again for a while after a rep I’d had good dealings with ended up working there. He’s left them now so not so keen to deal with them without someone I trust to fight my corner.

I've had them for all my fuel for years. Price was always kept sharp. A friend is the depot boss locally.
They were especially bad at harvest on a couple of loads, very unreliable, and I sent him a (Whatsapp) message saying it was crap in the (vain) hope it might help if forwarded on to the top. (It was!)
Nothing has changed. Delivery is still shocking, and I have now moved to another supplier.

Had a delivery of red diesel from them last Friday, which although a 2 week wait, was when they said it would be. Ordered via buying group, so we had no direct contact with them, but it was cheaper than another quote the same day.
