I have some picona to spray on my winter barley, however it has just emerged. Can I still get away with applying it? It says no later than growth stage 30 on the label.
TIA

No problem, spray away. Growth stage 30 will occur in March next year.... but for useful weed control you want to get it on sooner rather than later.I have some picona to spray on my winter barley, however it has just emerged. As already said, you'll be fine anytime up to gs30. I'd just try to avoid spraying before a cold night/frost.
I used to always spray my barley at 3 leaves to tie in with a bydv spray and mn but this last few years I've become more disappointed with its performance on amg and blw so this year I'm going through next week, the most forward barley will be 2 leaves.
Would you not just google growth stage 30? Or am I being unkind?I have some picona to spray on my winter barley, however it has just emerged. Can I still get away with applying it? It says no later than growth stage 30 on the label.

More fun to ask on here .Would you not just google growth stage 30? Or am I being unkind?
I did. I just wanted to make sure. On the recommendation it says 'one leaf stage' which initially confused me. I now realise that was the grass weeds etc. I've been having some moments this week. lol.Would you not just google growth stage 30? Or am I being unkind?
How did the wb do? Surely the concentration of glypo would have been so small. I always go overboard with rinsesI get them all the time. My moment this week was nearly going from pre-em WW with glyphosate in to post em WB without washing out....
Did it last year.
