Weaning cull ewes onto the lorry

I wanted to get them gone before eid and missed the local mart. I've never sold them dead before. Might be a big mistake but we shall see... the rest will go live like normal when I've had another sort out in a few weeks.

Well, I tried to send them by apparently these are in too good condition for abp... (apart from the odd skinny). He took 12 ewes that I would have wanted to put a bit more coverage on... just goes to show I know nothing!!!! View attachment 538702 View attachment 538704


You must be rich, using that much stock market lol.

Apparently the ethnic market likes their mutton on the lean side when compared to Western tastes.

You got a box full left be well worth you taking them asap if you can while trade is still holding!!! In a few weeks time you might have lost trade and one or two of them

I think you'll be disappointed selling those ewes dead, I did it a couple of times and never again, live is by far the best way to sell in my experience!
