Doesn't seem long ago Mr Keeling was predicting a good end to March? Reality up here on the Pennines, is it is the worst end to March I have ever known.

Similar view here in North Durham Pennines. The even hint of milder weather has gone from the forecasters now. We are defiantly in "unchartered waters" here, grass and crops are non existent , and silage supplies diminishing at an alarming rate!!

They cant forecast them and to mind will never be able to.thats where PWS come into action,if of good quality and correctly situated a pattern will emerge regards microclimate.
By the way you weren't correct.
you said "foot of snow fer the last 3 weeks and forecast is for the same for next month,"
It isn't and never has been forecast simple as that really.
