Don’t reverse at all with the feet touching the soil. ? If a used machine build up the lugs with the welder to make sure the feet hold on well. Use a soft hammer and glasses to avoid cast shards in your eyes when knocking points on. Guttler packer can be a pain to clean if too wet. I run the legs about 8” and the discs at 2-3” to level. Single pass only on sandy loam soil. You can run shallower but you would need the wider feet. They are more expensive to buy.

What sort of power does a 3 meter one take to pull. Got a few hills and some clay here

If points are loose when you put them on a quick fix is to put duck tape around the feet. Before you knock the points on.
We found this worked so well we didnt bother building up worn feet.

I would say 150hp should be fine, it was on our heavy ground
Depends how deep/fast you want to go, but 140hp will be fine
Draft or position on the linkage controls?
I’m assuming position and use the roller to control depth?
With only having one row of discs is it best to work in. “Lands” to not have too many ditches across the field?
And is it best working with or at an angle to tramlines?

Draft but not maximum, or you'll not have any weight transfer.
I'd agree re working in lands, no need to run discs deep, and for me, just a bit of angle to tramlines - we usually set off with say right wheel in the left wheeling at one end of the field, and head diagonally across the tramline as you head to the other end of the field, til the left wheel is in the right wheeling, iyswim. Easier with autosteer but that tractor is usually drilling!
Not got autosteer but do have a recently purchased light bar system which should be close enough to mark out with.
