I left both of the above because I couldn't get help when I needed it (I think 123 is 9-5) and because of pricing. 1&1 pulled the plug on me leaving me with no connection when I wouldn't agree to sign up for a 'special deal'.

Now with Godaddy and all is well. Their technicians get scored by you according to how helpful they have been so they go the extra mile. 24hr help.

Ideally I'd like two domain names leading to the same website. I did some web design at college nearly 15 years ago but that was using HTML script. No other experience.

I've done some reading and Siteground have good reviews but looks like it will cost me £10 per month for 2 domains.

IPage seems to get consistent second place in reviews, £9 per month

E Host have some good reviews too at £5.50 per month

123 I've not seen much about and it's £5 per month

Godaddy is £7 per month.

Obviously price isn't everything, most seem to have free design tools etc so which are the easiest to use etc?

I am using Dreamweaver CS4, but then I'm a masochist. I'm sure there must be something easier out there but it is too late now. 1&1 were giving out a dated copy for free, then I got a copy on a 2nd hand computer. The thing about Dreamweaver is that there's lots of tutorials and stuff on the net and advice is only a Google away.

I use names.co.uk for domains and have been very happy with bluehost for hosting - I use them for two of my sites.

I use wordpress.org - theres a lot of support online with forums and such.

Have a look at Heart Internet. They are used by a lot of IT companies as their services are very reliable.
1&1 and 123-Reg are the bottom of the pile for supplying cheap cr@p and I spent a lot of time moving people off these services.
They are sold cheap and they are cheap. You get what you pay for.
