A front lies across central & southern Britain, patchy light drizzle, at times but brighter in the north, with sunny spells for the north-east. More general rain in western Scotland Winds light but a bit on the breezy side in the north. Highs 18C /64F

Looking further ahead Frost and Snow will be in the forecast.

As we go in the weekend the weather settles down with high pressure over the country, feeling fresher, chance of a frost at night, but heads up in to next and we loose the warmth as arctic air blasts south we may even see snow over northern hills, more on this later.

Whatever our weather enjoy it!

I can think of a word that rhymes with "TANKER" for a comment like .

I missed baling 200 acres of grass this autumn due to impossible conditions as black peat ground is water logged big time and grass now is only salvageable by field lice also known as sheep. Far far worst up north tho.
