High pressure is likely to build across the UK from the west through the day introducing mainly fine and settled conditions later. Scotland and Northern Ireland, clear skies leaving a chilly night with frost in places,. It will turn cloudy with rain arriving in northern England and Wales by the morning leaving a wet day in the south. A cool NE breeze, winds light. Best of the sunshine in the north and west, but much cooler than Tuesday and with rather a rather chilly night ahead. Highs around, 14C/57F at best!
