A mild west to southwest air so a cloudy day instore for most, outbreaks of rain and patchy drizzle mostly over coasts and hills exposed to the westerly breeze . Rain at first in northeast Scotland will be clearing away by the afternoon. eastern Scotland is then dry, still some drizzle in the west. The afternoon sees further cloud and some drizzle affecting western hills again, whilst the east is likely to be drier with some bright spells breaking through the cloud. Highs 20C/68F
