It's in new grass
sheep don't seem to be clearing it may have to try the cows on it ?
One vague diagnosis said wild lettuce .

Yes it's thistle like but soft and can grab it but above says sow thistle which I thought you were stronger pricles at this stage , maybe it's a half hearted thistle that's struggling like everything else with the sh!t season

Looks like it's the spinney sow thistle then , will soon see when yellow flowers turn up !

Sow thistles are soft enough to pull by hand, as they mature or in hot dry weather they can get more prickly. Probably pulled hundreds of thousands of them in my lifetime if not millions.

Think it may be the yellow flower one above

They're smothering the grass and clover out the fekin things, wish I'd just put brassica crop in and put grass in in backend
