Weed wiper?

Hi, new to forum and looking for some advice. Have any members had experience with quad x weed wiper, looking at buying a new machine but had no experience with using a weed wiper. Thanks

I have a logic brush weed wiper because I thought I could set it closer to the ground without breaking anything hitting the ground or rocks. If you can't touch the weeds you won't kill them

From my past experience ones doesn’t realise how uneven your fields are until you use a weed wiper!!

I have had a Rotowiper (carpet) for many years now. A useful machine which takes some skill to use effectively. No experience with a brush. Good for thistles, rushes, bracken, never used it on crops.
You need to look at things differently to using a sprayer. Spraying you expect to do so once. With the wiper you expect to go back again, especially with thistles as they mature at different times. With rush you can go back a week later and do it in reverse to get the other side of the clumps. Bracken, attack it when it is about 18 inches as it is nerve racking to drive through 5 foot bracken on rough ground not knowing what you are going to meet. That would be before now and then revisit it in August to catch any regrowth.
Chemical usage is so cheap you can discount the cost of multiple attacks compared with spraying.
It is tiring to use behind a bike on rough ground but very satisfying when you see the results a couple of weeks later. This is a field of creeping thistle a few weeks after wiping on 4th July, photo 11th August:
