Got a nice reseed but it’s being smothered with redshank , is there anything that I can spray with that won’t kill my clover or is it better to just spray with something cheaper and not worry about clover??

Had same problem last year with a spring reseed. Topped it and grazed it. No sign of any red shank this year.
kills clover thoughLeystar.
Cheaper, quicker and more effective.
Well I'll be. A weed problem that can be sorted without resorting to the sprayer!
But you lose 50 % of the advantage which is massive tilering after a quick graze by chucking money at itBut if you haven’t got sheep then finding a sheep man to give it a quick graze and not knacker it makes spraying it look like child’s play!
Is the ground firm or soft? Thanks guys, it will be getting sheep on it but not for a month yet so think il run the topper over it, really don't want to spray but weeds are getting to be a problem this week will try topping first. Would anyone graze reseeds with young cattle? if they were only taking the top off it might be ok?.
Spruce and triad will take out redshank well, leaving the clover unscathed (as long as it is not newly emerged), but yes, topping/grazing tight/mowing will kill it too. That mix will also take out seedling docks & thistles too, if you have them present.
I had to spray a reseed last year as the sheep were pulling grass plants out before they’d graze the weeds down. The drought meant the weeds had managed to grow while the grass struggled to get established. There were plenty of thistle seedlings coming too, which it cleared.
