with the High out to the west of Ireland most places should remain dry a weak cold front will move south during the day this giving mostly light rain or drizzle. Although there will be some sunny intervals most likely in the west. Winds north –westerly light to moderate.

Overnight: skies clearing giving a frosty night for most with near 0C/32F

The High moves across the south, while low pressure moves across northern Scotland.
It should be a mostly dry day to come for most, with good spells of sunshine in the south, but cloud will be thickening in the north. A weather deep depression over northern Scotland will bring severe gales for a time here with a cold front moving south and brining showery rain and much colder air south with some of the rain tuning to snow especially over the hills, westerly winds in increase later and turn more north westerly.
Falling colder with a Highs 14C/57C but falling later.
