A sunny and frosty start for most today, with some mist or fog patches in places some of which may linger through the morning. A cloudy start in the west and SW with showers moving east during the day, perhaps turning wintry over hills. Showers also in the NE. High’s around 4C/39F
Tonight: Once any rain .sleet or snow have moved away, with skies clearing expect another very cold night with temps down to -4C in places.

Morning fog patches will clear through the morning, to leave a dry and sunny day in the south. Skies will be cloudier further north, with some isolated outbreaks of light rain/sleet. High of 6C/43F

Monday-Wednesday:
Dry for most, but with some outbreaks of rain in the north-west. Sunny spells too, but it'll feel cold with widespread frosts and some persistent fog patches.
Thursday – Friday:
Becoming move unsettled with the Atlantic trying to take over, so expect to see wind and rain returning slowly from the north to reach all but the SE by Friday. Temperatures recovering to normal
