A cold day everywhere, most places will be dry with some sunshine; showers around northern, western and eastern coasts, turning wintry over the hills. Above 300mtrs or 1000ft winds increasing becoming strong to gale force along the east coast. Making it feel much colder than 8C/46F
Overnight; wintry showers continuing around the coasts, dry inland but cold with a widespread frost lows of -4C 25F
Outlook for Sunday:
Cold, frosty start. Then a lot of dry, sunny weather inland, but showers pushing in from coasts, giving hail, sleet and perhaps snow on high ground. Above 250 metres or 800ft Winds fresh to strong form the NE
