Weigh bars ? Explain more.
Double handling of Asbestos defeats the object, and I normally have wait and load 40 yd bin,
You don't have a friendly haulier who would pick up the bin and weigh it for you before the disposal company take it to tip?

Could you put weighbars under the skip before you fill it?

Is there much saving to wait and load? When I had a bin once it was something like a £50 saving, but if there was a delay we’d be charged £100/hr or so waiting time. Seemed simpler and easier just to have the bin dropped in the yard, loaded whenever and then collected a day or two later with no unknowns. Can fit more in the bin too by stacking it than just tipping it in the top. Depends on your setup though.

If you removing a roof (say) you'll know how many sheets there are on it, all you need to do is weigh one intact one and multiply up to get some idea of what you're putting in the bin? Ok there would be guttering, flashing and other more random bits, but if you put those bits to one side and just filled a bin with a known amount of whole sheets you'd have a pretty good idea of what the weight should be, even if they have been mashed up a bit once tipped in the bin. Then you could compare your calculated weight with what the weigh bridge is saying.

Precisely, that’s how I get to my calculations,
Asbestos big 6 15 kg per sq m,

Wet or dry?
Is that per sheet weight or the whole roof area sq m, weight, are you allowing for overlap of sheets if total roof area is being measured for weight. Sorry I don't think I've explained that very well.

Average,
When I previously calculated jobs, allowing for 15 kg per sq m will give you Lee way when quoting,

Last job. Calculated 8.5 ton, ticket for 11.5 ton, 3 ton over calculations that’s about 35%,
1 ton over you accept,
Next job, will try and weigh, and see what happens.

thats best way, its hard to gauge, i sold a load of stone and gauged what was in jcb bucket, they thought it was less than 2 tonne i was certain it was nearly dead on, weighed if before and after local scrap yard with ticket nearly dead on per bucket 2 tonne... well worth £5 to prove it.
