Weird mastitis

Keep getting a few ewes with what looks a perfect udder yet one side has no milk at all! Udder is very hard and one big perfectly smooth lump. It’s not hot, sore to touch or red and ewes don’t seem sick. Typically find it when lambs look a bit hungry. Antibiotics and loxicom don’t seem to make any difference!

Save your money the ab's wont help, old infection probably after weaning so just make sure you mark for culling . Personally I check all ewes twice before the tups go in and still get the odd dud at lambing
Have had two that have lambed with milk on both quarters only to go dry 48 hours later one away in both sides the other still milking on one
