What makes low hydrogen rods better for general welding than the 6013, please?
Ive never got on very well with them, only realy use them on trailer eye renewing sort of jobs, last ones i had for that job was supercitos they were quite good to use but Generally i find 7018s tempermental :cautious:

I find Hilco Red are good, a little bit dearer, but for occadional use they are very suitable for the average guy.
especially if you keep em dry, and every now and then recook them in the oven, I forget the correct temp and length of time tho.:cautious:im not good in the kitchen :LOL:
