"All movements, including the Animal Rebellion, will engage in nonviolent civil disobedience, the only strategy that could ever achieve fast systemic change based on historical evidence," spokesperson for Animal Rebellion, Dan Kidby, added.
"The science is clear, any solution to our climate and ecological emergency must include the government ending the industries of animal agriculture and fishing, and leading a transition towards a sustainable and just plant-based food system."

If this protest is going ahead..... and I think it will looking at the militant organisations who were at the meeting
And having read the article
I think every animal farmer needs to up their security and make contingency plans

When 1000 protestors descend upon you it will be a bit late to think about....
Electrifying the perimeter
Fitting CCTV
Building a moat
Etc

There is a saying, be careful what you wish for, you might get it.
It’s a shame normal farming can’t be suspended for a while just to show how wrong they are and that all the problems they lay at the door of farming wouldn’t suddenly disappear but a whole lot more may come to light.

That's all you hear though, it's up to someone else.

I have never been in the NFU or NFU Cymru in my own right, my father and other family have. I know loads of people who have stopped paying their sub's because they've had enough of the 'Unions' doing SFA and cosying up to the powers-that-be.

I haven't met a single person who has said to me 'The NFU, they're doing a great job for farming, I'm going to join them now so they can keep up the good work'.

Just had this link from a friend.
The whole jobs getting seriously out of hand with these nutters ...

There was a thread about this about a month ago. Extinction rebellion have confirmed they aren't a vegan organisation, but they certainly seem to walk and quack like ducks.

She was actually a farmer and a very passionate one, her one mistake was leaving all her farms to the National Trust.
