Oh Feeeeck!Bekina thermolite are the best I have had but they might have stopped making them now. Usually about three years before they gave up other than this pair that lasted 24hrs when one of the dogs took a fancyView attachment 983627

For winter lol!Cut them away to make them into a handy slip on garden shoe
Depends on the state of your garden! Think crocs with the holes filled inFor winter lol!
You have my respect, that is some serious welly usage, not even close to that myself.I wear wellies all day every day, dipped in virkon about 40 times a day. Walk about 25-30km day.
Used to get through a pair of bekina agrilites every 3-6 months but they were comfortable. Then they changed the shape and made them narrower, gave me corns then so had to find a replacement.
Tried loads, chameau don't last for real work, dunlop too tight over top of foot, aigle same as chameau. Cheaper wellies fall apart or crack.
I have ended up with Skellerup, seem to last about a year, very comfortable for me, always wear good thick socks too. Have the insulated sport ones for winter (can be a bit bulky and the strap on th side is a pain for catching on things). The uninsulated ones are lighter and no strap, so my favourite but expensive for what they are.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has had a bad experience with the skellerup. (My first pair collapsed a bit inside the sole, but they were a year old, and the tread was fair worn by then).
Le Chameau Ceres are very comfortable and last for years.
The rubber quality in wellies nowadays has gone down substantially no doubt as what it used to be in the past. Some of the wellies are only PVC or recycled rubber. I had to go for Dunlop Purofort this time, but a little expensive !!I do about 14 hours a day in wellies none last over 3 months now rubber quality has gone way down used to get 8 months from Dunlop’s now they split at the steel cap before there a month old had 2 pairs of berkinas over the last 8 weeks they have been replaced free but still not very good jcb wellies are well tough but there so heavy and uncomfortable I just can’t wear them
I’ve had 4 pairs of those last year last less than a fortnight each very disappointed used to be my favourites along with the land mastersThe rubber quality in wellies nowadays has gone down substantially no doubt as what it used to be in the past. Do you mind me asking did you get any refund or replacement for them ? The only issue I have with them so far is insoles !! but that can dealt with by getting a proper pair at a Good draper shop !!I’ve had 4 pairs of those last year last less than a fortnight each very disappointed used to be my favourites along with the land masters
Can only speak as I find, I have a pair that I wear in the pig sheds every day (pressure washed most days) that are over two years old and a pair for general use which are over a year old. I have a pair that I bought as seconds from Le Chamaeu for £90, but they are still in the box.Agree they are very comfortable but not that they last for years.
They are my wellie of choice BUT they have a weak point and split at the back of the heel. Price point has also changed a fair bit. Not so long ago could get a pair sub £100 now it’s £150 for a pair.
I buy from Amazon so send them a photo they send you a new pair I’ve took them back into proper shops before now and got the same and your right you need to buy a decent gel insoleDo you mind me asking did you get any refund or replacement for them ? I only very recent switched over from Dunlop Prestige to Dunlop Purofort due to an issue with broad fitting on my part. As you stated they are very comfortable and light to wear, that is 100% true. So far so Good after 5 weeks of daily frequent use on a farm. There are one a few brands out there that one can turn down the tops easily for which I do and wear the wellies as they say turned down. The other brands are too stiff to turn them down. I had Cebo's in the past but there Not broad fitting that the only thing at fault for me and you need to turn down the tops a little more at the top if your into Turned Down wellies....Dunlop purofort are rubbish I've sent more pairs back than enough which is unfortunate as I find them very comfortable and light to wear. They always split up the heel which is a very obvious design fault.
Need to buy them of amazon and return as faulty every 3 months.
