Welshpool ram sale 14/9

Anyone on here have any reports on the multi breed ram sale at Welshpool today?

I spoke to someone down there that was looking to buy a BFL x Texel ram (for some reason). He said there was lots of VERY well fed rams there and trade was on fire. Haven’t heard any more than that but I’l quiz him tomorrow.

There seemed a roaring trade in the non mv tups and lots of people there eager to buy.

Any reports on yesterday’s multi breed sale at Welshpool.

Charollais numbers were short, and sold well, with a near total clearance. I was told the good Texels were on fire, but lots of ‘also rans’ were not much money (I nearly put ‘cheap’, but there’s a difference). The best Berrichons were selling very well apparently too, and that was from a seller as I didn’t see them.

Sorry, I didn’t hear much about the other breeds as busy nattering at the Charollais end of things.
