Personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole but the finish is improving.
Was talking once to an Irish/ American lad who had spent thirty years in China doing quality control for an American company he worked for, his take on the Chinese was this
"To a German manufacturer the Specification is your starting point.
To a Chinese Manufacturer the specification is some to be achieved"...........

Seen some of the Chinese stuff 10 or so years ago, it was assembled from some known Western brands of components, but that's where the similarities ended.

To be fair the Chinese can and will make just about anything, it's just that those buying their wares often have also demanded it be cheap.
