We have a couple of areas that have been poached badly after the rain this week.

Would Westerwold seed take if just broadcast onto it now?

Too wet to do anything else to it.

I've always chucked PRG grass seed on the surface of bare patches in the winter, when stock are shut off that ground for a few months. It's always taken by the Spring, unless it's capped like concrete.

I can't see why Westerwolds would be any less likely to take, just not as quickly as normal I'd have thought.
