It's not my old girl then, mine was 01y00449, strange how some things stick in your memory! A 1980 good old girls, wish I could of kept it.

Mine is 1Y483. Some years it doesn’t do a lot, but old caterpillars seem to have souls somehow. I have a D7f as well which is powershift.
They certainly do, can leave them stood a few years, grease up and go to work. Not many machines will stand season to season without problems. Dont depreciate either!

Both my Cats had stood a while this year, likewise a 1980’s JCB805bt. All of them started immediately when I had reason to get on them. If they’re unhappy just put a new fuel filter on. Cheers them up no end!
