Had this problem on a McHale hs2000 several years ago. Cleaning the tack off rollers helped but can't remember if it totally sorted the problem

Put a used wrap centre on it and check the top and bottom rollers are the same. We had a hs 2000 where the was more pressure on the bottom of the aluminium roller than the top which made the roll spiral at the end. It turned out that the pre-stretcher had a bend in it.

I've had that happen a couple of times but it always seems to be with a brand of plastic that rhymes with siloshite
Yeah I 've had it with that brand , so changed to a different brand which the wrapper loved but would have random holes in the bales!? So have gone back to silo...

How long since changed the springs
We used to change them on our hs every 20k otherwise the stretcher used to all sorts of tricks especially on damp nights.
If there is no tack build or damage to the stretcher I would expect that problem to be a dodgy load of wrap or wrap that’s been damaged on its edge during delivery or transport.

It's the brand of wrap your using as it's been slightly damaged at some point through handling on the outermost circles as a mark there will cause a fold and it will tear away from that.
Some wrap causes far less problems than other makes.

Faulty wrap,if the first 3/4 of the roll works fine it isn't handling damage,i would return what you haven't used including those spiralled ones.
That’s what’s left on the rolls

Currently scrubbing the wrapper with petrol and have 180 to wrap next... customers bought there own wrap so hopefully it’s different stuff

I would check to make sure all the rollers are alined first it doesn't take much at the end of a roll to make them spiral. When ours was out of line there was only 1 or 2 mm difference between the top and bottom and most rolls would spiral.

Had major problems with that exact same wrap last year doing the same and it had been good wrap up till then.
